E-List/Blog Feeds

In the past, we’ve subscribed donors and friends to our paper newsletter. Help us save money, time, and trees by subscribing to our online content in lieu of our paper newsletter. The more money we save on operations costs, the more money we can spend on fulfilling the needs of the homeless!

There are two methods by which we keep you updated via the internet:

1. Our Downtown Ministries Blog, which includes articles, PodCasts, announcements, and general updates. This blog is the heart of our content here at the website. To keep up with our blog, you can visit us regularly on the web. Or, you can subscribe via your newsreader of choice to our blog’s RSS feed, and/or subscribe to our audio PodCast feed via your audio player of choice. If you don’t know what this feed business means, don’t worry; just subscribe to our email list instead…
2. Our Downtown Ministries Email list, by which we disseminate major announcements and newsletter updates via email. Our email list’s scope will be somewhat narrower than the blog’s; the list will be a source of major announcements and newsletter updates.

There are three ways to subscribe to our email list:

1. When you send in your check and donor form via regular mail, include your email address and we’ll add you to our email announcement list.
2. When you donate via Paypal, we’ll add the email address with which you pay to our email announcement list.
3. If you cannot donate at this time, you are more than welcome to subscribe yourself to our email announcement list, below:

But that’s not the end of it! Once you have subscribed via this form, we’ll send you a confirmation message at the email address you submitted. Follow the instructions in that message to confirm your membership. If you don’t complete this final confirmation step, you will not receive our email updates!
